Beach of Dreams – Findhorn
18 May @ 8:45 am

“Beach of Dreams invites participants and audiences to work together to create a hopeful perspective on the future of our coast and planet. By walking the coastline and sharing stories about its past, present and future, we can learn about coastal and climate challenges, and imagine how we can collectively create a regenerative future.” Ali Pretty, Artistic Director, Kinetika
Findhorn Bay Arts are community partners in the UK-wide coastal arts festival – Beach of Dreams – activating and exploring the unique heritage, cultures and climate futures of our coastlines.
Beach of Dreams invites you to step outside, walk together, and connect with the beauty, stories, and challenges of the UK’s coastlines. It’s a chance to reflect on our relationship with these extraordinary landscapes, discover fresh perspectives, and imagine new possibilities for the future.
We have been working with artist Amy Neville of Naturally Useful, artist Eve Mosher and Wild Things! Environmental Education in Action and invited local people to connect with our coastline from Findhorn to Burghead and contribute to a local artwork of silk pennants on Sunday 18 May. Over 50 participants took part in our workshops and will join us for the culmination of the project – a promenade from Burghead to Findhorn.
