Dallas Dhu Distillery is back! The new team, tasked with reviving the iconic distillery and producing whisky once again, are thrilled to invite you to an unforgettable day of celebration, culture and whisky. This marks the beginning of an exciting new era for Dallas Dhu.
Throughout the day, there’ll be lots of free fun and exciting activities, entertainment and attractions:
- Cooperage Display – see the ancient craft of cask-making in action, a nod to the distillery’s rich whisky heritage.
- Whisky Collection Display – enjoy an extraordinary collection of rare and unique whisky artefacts.
- Mini Highland Games – get competitive with fun activities for all ages. Have a go at tossing the caber!
- Live Music – live performances from local artists of traditional Scottish music.
- Highland Dancing – bringing energy, tradition and Scottish culture.
- Bird of Prey Display – meet some magnificent birds of prey in this unique and informative experience.
- Photography Exhibition & Competition – marvel at local talent or submit your own masterpiece for a chance to win and be judged by local celebrities.
- Sketch and Scotch – enjoy a dram whilst drawing whisky themed pictures.
- Market Stalls – discover unique local crafts, food, and more from talented artisans.
- Whisky Shop – selling lots of rare and hard-to-find whiskies including Murray McDavid and Aceo Spirits from their exceptional archive collection.
- Raffle – enter for a chance to win fantastic prizes and support a local charity.
- Food Vendors – satisfy your cravings with delicious food and drinks available all day.
- Activities for Kids – face painting, treasure hunt and more!

- Build your own Whisky Cask at Dallas Dhu Distillery’s Cooper’s Workshop – roll up your sleeves and discover the art of cask-making with expert Cooper, Jason Taylor.
- Dallas Dhu Distillery: Drams from the Archives – savour five rare vintage drams from the 1970s and 80s and explore the rich heritage of this iconic distillery.
- Blend Your Own Whisky: The Spirit of Dallas Dhu Distillery – craft your own unique bottle and taste the legacy of Speyside in our immersive whisky blending workshop.
