Winter Wreath in Watercolour – Findhorn

Welcome the festive season by painting a stunning winter wreath with Lucy!
You will witness demonstrations and receive guidance on how to paint a value scale, basic watercolour techniques and brush–holds. You will practice how to paint the foliage, branches and berries in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere! We will delve into composition and enjoy painting an expressive unique wreath.

About your tutor
“I’m Lucy, a creative based in Moray and I have a life long passion for Art and Design and a degree in Textile Design (BA Hons Textile Design, Nottingham Trent University)
More recently, I had the opportunity to really focus in on my passion for Watercolour painting.
I refreshed my skills via classes online and joined artists communities. I developed a daily Watercolour practice and found it so satisfying to paint both floral pieces and landscapes/seascapes. My work began to flourish, and I began selling my work locally.
I started sharing my knowledge by leading a couple of workshops in my local area and I found I love to share what I’ve learned!
I’ve now led several floral Watercolour workshops with Moray Art Centre. I focus particularly on teaching basic watercolour techniques, so learners can thrive in their creative work, relax and create with ease; ‘Watercolour should bring joy, not stress’ is my motto! However, more advance artists are very welcome and will also benefit from knowledge shared.”
