Thiscreates flexibility and a free flow of subtle energy. \n\n\n\nEnergy Block Release sequences (EBRs) are easy-to-practise\, flowingmovements that help to release tension physically\, mentally andemotionally. \n\n\n\nIn Dru Yoga all movements originate from the spine because a flexible\,healthy spine supports your entire yoga practice. \n\n\n\nThe spinal wave and spinal twist are core features of Dru\, enhancingspinal health and vitality. \n\n\n\nA deep understanding of core stability is a major focus. \n\n\n\nDru Yoga works to balance the chakras (energy centres of the body) andaccess the powerful energy of the heart. \n\n\n\nWithin the flow of movement\, Dru Yoga creates powerful moments ofstillness which we call ‘Dru points’. \n\n\n\nWHAT DOES ‘DRU’ MEAN? \n\n\n\nDru comes from the Sanskrit word dhruva\, which refers to the stillnessthat can be experienced in Dru Yoga and Dru Meditation. In thisstillness we are able to sit back from anything that may be happeningaround us\, and see and act from a point of clarity and inner calm.

All materials are included \n\n\n\nLocation: Drybridge\, near Buckie \n\n\n\n​Join me for a relaxed and creative day exploring the art of needle-felted textile sculpture as you create a beautiful woodland-inspired bark piece ready to display in a box frame.  \n\n\n\nSuitable for beginners and welcoming to all experience levels\, this workshop will introduce you to a range of needle felting techniques\, including blending colours\, building texture\, creating depth and sculpting natural forms from wool fibres.  \n\n\n\nInspired by woodland habitats\, you’ll learn how to construct realistic bark surfaces enhanced with delicate details such as mosses\, fungi\, lichens and other forest-floor elements\, bringing your piece to life through layers of texture and colour.  \n\n\n\nWith step-by-step guidance in a small\, supportive group\, you’ll gain confidence in both two-dimensional and sculptural felting techniques while developing your own creative interpretation of the woodland theme. DESCRIPTION:Birdvox brings together four of Scotland’s most distinctive musical voices to create something entirely new: a sound that is at once ancient and contemporary\, familiar and surprising.
