The setting
Surrounded by water, woodland and the historic buildings of the Altyre Estate, Blair’s Loch offers a beautiful and atmospheric place to pause, look closely and make. The surroundings will form part of the creative experience, inviting participants to notice colours, shapes, textures and details that are easily overlooked.
About the artist
Helen A. Noyce is a practising artist and experienced educator based in Moray. A graduate of Edinburgh College of Art, she has taught in schools for over 20 years, including 11 years as Head of Art and Design, alongside leading creative workshops for adults and children in the wider community. Her own practice explores colour, light, landscape and place through painting, drawing, collage and mixed media.
