Join me for a relaxed and creative day exploring the art of needle-felted textile sculpture as you create a beautiful woodland-inspired bark piece ready to display in a box frame.

Suitable for beginners and welcoming to all experience levels, this workshop will introduce you to a range of needle felting techniques, including blending colours, building texture, creating depth and sculpting natural forms from wool fibres.

Inspired by woodland habitats, you’ll learn how to construct realistic bark surfaces enhanced with delicate details such as mosses, fungi, lichens and other forest-floor elements, bringing your piece to life through layers of texture and colour.

With step-by-step guidance in a small, supportive group, you’ll gain confidence in both two-dimensional and sculptural felting techniques while developing your own creative interpretation of the woodland theme. By the end of the session, you’ll take home a unique framed felt artwork, along with new technical skills, creative inspiration and the confidence to continue exploring needle felting in your own projects.
