A short burst of rain just as the parade started didn’t dampen the day on Sunday as Dallas held its annual gala. We were invited in to take some pictures.
Starting from the village hall, a parade including the Gala Queen and her attendant, several floats and the Strathisla Pipe Band made its way to the school playing field.
Arena attractions included a falconry display, line dancing, country dancing, kids races and a pet parade. There were lots of side stalls, a good community vibe and plenty of people turned out to this traditional annual village event.
