Forres Fest was a musical fundraiser for the Forres Mechanics FC, so the venue was a given. Organised by Andy Macdonald’s YBD Music, the company behind MacMoray and MacPiping Hot Forres, the event was a smash hit with revellers coming from as far as Aberdeen and the day kept dry with a few bouts of sunshine.
The grounds offered the perfect arena for an eclectic mix of Scottish music from the ceilidh music of Tweed, to the local pop from Be Like Pablo to the celtic drums of Clanadonia, and the stomping 70s Scottish boy band, the Bay City Rollers.
We were invited along to capture some of the action and atmosphere.
